BAGUIO CITY, Nov.10 (PIA) – – Financial risk protection and access to quality in-patient and out-patient health care services for the poor families in the country as well as the attainment of the Philippines’ commitment to the Health related Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) are the key focus of the Aquino Health Agenda of ‘Kalusugan Pangkalahatan’ (KP).
Thus, stressed Department of Health- Cordillera (DOH-CAR) Health Policy Development Program consultant, Dr. Ryan Guinaran, in a kapihan forum at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) Auditorium, Wednesday.
In line with the access to quality health care services for the poor Filipino families, Guinaran stressed the DOH is now continuously improving and upgrading the health facilities all over the country and if plans pushes through, the Cordillera health facilities will be getting about P440 million fund for infrastructure and equipment upgrades for 2012.
