As stipulated in the recently signed MOA, the elected officials will have a one year term and the elected Chairman of the Governing Council will also be the Chairman of the Development Council.

Oath taking of the new BLISTT Officers is scheduled on March 7, 2014 which will also be a BLISTT Development Council Meeting.

The conduct of local consultations in the BLISTT areas is next in the agenda with Itogon, Sablan, Baguio and Tuba scheduling it on March 19, March 25, March 26 and April 4 respectively while La Trinidad and Tublay are still deciding on the best possible dates. The local consultations have the main purposes of 1) informing local officials and other stakeholders on the BLISTT initiative and 2) involving local stakeholders in the formulation of the BLISTT strategic framework and identification of BLISTT-wide development priorities.
