DDG Rolando G. Tungpalan met with Richard Moore, AusAID’s First Assistant Secretary General of Asia Division, on September 6 for a preliminary dicussion on the upcoming Philippines-Australia Country Development Assistance Program: 2012-2016.
During the meeting, Project Monitoring Staff (PMS) Dir. Roderick M. Planta provided a response to AusAID’s 2007-2011 Philippines Strategy Program Performance Report that was presented by Titon Mitra, AusAID’s Minister-Counsellor for the Philippines. National Planning and Policy Staff (NPPS) OIC-AD Marites Oliva also briefed AusAID officials on the Philippines’ policy priorities and development outlook.
The meeting, which was also attended by Public Investment Staff (PIS) Dir. Jonathan L. Uy, PIS Asst. Dir. Florante G. Igtiben, and other AusAID officials, was also in line with preparations for the High Level Consultations (HLCs) between both governments in the coming months to be held in Canberra, Australia.
