The Cordillera National Economic and Development Authority conducted the 2018 Mid-Year NEDA, RDC and SPCAR Performance Review and Work Plan Workshop on August 1 and 2.
In welcoming the staff to the workshop, Regional Director Milagros Rimando explained that the objective of the activity is to look back at what has been accomplished in the first semester of 2018 and make plans for a better performance in the second semester. In strategizing for the next six months, she challenged everyone to “change one’s frame of mind as this makes change happen.” She also encouraged the staff to “think out of the box” which usually results to innovations.
Aside from the presentation of accomplishments and plans, catch-up plans were also agreed upon. Management likewise informed the staff about some organizational changes that are being planned to further enhance the performance of the NRO.
The staff also had a chance for fun and relaxation during the socials that was held in the evening of August 1. Aside from Minute-to-Win-It games coordinated by the younger staff of the Office of the Regional Director, it was also a time to honor the NRO’s retirees for the year who were serenaded by the NRO’s songbirds, Aris Dos and Jane Sianen. ARD Jade Aquino will be retiring in October, and Helen Tamaray, Sr. EDS of PDIPBD, and Teresita Robillos, Admin. Officer IV in charge of Human Resources, will be leaving NEDA in November. xxx
