Since the RDC revived the issue of Regional Autonomy in 2007, very few Regional Directors spoke publicly in support of it and to think many of them are members of the RDC.
So how can the RDC convince the Cordillera people? They could not even convince some of their members. How can Domogan speak of a plebiscite before 2013, he could not even convince some RDC members despite five years of Regional Autonomy on the agenda.
I heard someone say: “Of course, the directors are speaking from their comfort zones.” Well, tell that to the Cordillera people who seem comfortable with the present set-up.
